Ryn Weaver sent the music world into meltdown with her star-studded debut single 'OctaHate' last year, which featured no less than Charli XCX, Passion Pit's Michael Angelakos and production heavyweights Benny Blanco and Cashmere Cat on co-penning duties. The tune had everyone from Jessie Ware to Hayley Williams of Paramore to Letterman singing Ryn's praises. The NYC/LA based singer has been tucked away, working on her debut LP over the winter, and now as the first sun rays crack through grey skies, we're being treated to the effervescent title track from the record, entitled The Fool. It's a typically breezy pop number from Ryn, whose trembling vocals hop-scotch over a lolloping beat, starbound synths and sweetly lilting guitar. - DC
