With a powerful voice cutting through the light strings and acoustic guitar accompaniment, Ryan McMullan’s latest track, ‘Rebellion’ is a brilliant tune full of wordplay. With writing coming from Iain Archer (who has worked with the likes of Snow Patrol and James Bay), the track was always in safe hands. McMullan says of the new tune: “Rebellion is about having to smile when it’s killing you. About doing the things we don’t want to do and having to pretend”.
