Now London-based singer Rosie Lowe gets set to release her debut album Control via Wolf Tone/Polydor on 19th Feb with opening single, ‘Woman', a straight faced piano burner with a slowly sensual chorus and a sharp electronic backbeat. This girl-positive song relays the daily pressures of being female, with a jumpily percussive chorus of “I’m a proud woman” highlighting the tough struggle to transition from girlhood to womanhood. You'll know Rosie Lowe’s name from her spotlight stealing coo on Lil Silva's 'No Doubt', and with the self-produced Control (alongside The Invisible’s Dave Okumu) Rosie finally takes centre stage.
