Rocket Ship TV is a musical project by two 22-year-olds, Samuel Jones and Charlie Carmichael from the fishing town of Leigh-on-Sea. Both members of Velvet Morning - this project was born out of a desire to explore alternative sounds to the ones that they were so used to with their other band. Having just released their debut album Better Days via Half Machine Records for Record Store Day, their latest single 'Vegan Broadcast' is an insight into the sonic landscape that the duo have created for themselves. Citing Guided By Voices, Galaxy 500, The Strokes and Yuck among others as influences, 'Vegan Broadcast' is a soothing wash of jangling guitars steeped in the indie rock goodness of their predecessors. - HLMX
