Rejoicer (Yuvi Havkin) is a producer from Tel-Aviv, who splices together funk, hip-hop, breakbeats and jazz. He's helped cultivate Israel’s modern beat movement, and fostered a community of international artists who contribute to his Raw Tapes label. 'Up in Flames' is his fantastic new single, and is the first release since his debut album Energy Dreams, which came out in 2018. The video alongside it, directed by Rejoicer & Jengo, is a surreal collection of melting faces, necks that grow and trippy, cell-like balls which float up into the sky. iogi features on the track, a fellow Tel-Aviv musician/producer who released his debut album The Ceiling on Raw Tapes back in 2018. Mellow synth lines, groove orientated bass and a chilled beat set a lush tone to the start of this tune. A bell-like synth plays a climbing lead line that could soundtrack the finding of treasure on a video-game. iogi's vocals are passionate and relaxed, with an underlying soulfulness.
