Producer Rejoicer has been nourishing Tel-Aviv's modern beat movement with his unique approach in splicing together funk, hip-hop, breakbeats and jazz. He's just released a new single 'Pre-Memory Circle', out on Stones Throw. In a nutshell, the track is calming, resembling a serene Japanese garden with blossom trees and a still lake where birds float under a golden sun. Shaker, bird sounds and a welcoming beat introduce the song, alongside glistening synth runs. The bass line moves up and down the fret, with a melody that talks about something intriguing. The song keeps moving through strange and exotic dream-like landscapes; always straddling the edge of a-tonality with the unusual synthesiser notes, but remaining in a place of harmony. 'Pre-Memory Circle' takes ambient electronica to a very special place of peace. -Ellie Rose-Davies
