Preoccupations have announced their new album, simply entitled New Material and due 23rd March via indie stalwart Jagjaguwar (home to the likes of Angel Oslen, Bon Iver and Unknown Mortal Orchestra). The first taste of this follow-up to 2016's brilliant self-titled comes in the form of 'Espionage' - a typically dark, thought-provoking and industrial outing, complete with haunting Numan-esque synths and Matt Flegel's famously impassioned vocal performance. Fans of the four-piece will also be pleased to hear news of extensive tour dates in support of the record, bringing their mind-bending live show to London show this June. -G.O'B
