Hotly-tipped London duo PREGOBLIN blew our minds last month with their disco-inspired debut 'COMBUSTION'. Today the unlikely twosome have revealed some somewhat saucy visuals for their dancefloor filler. The video, which was self-directed by Alex Sebley, captures the pair very much in their element, hanging out in a dimly-lit studio with Winter on the keys as Sebley jams along on guitar, occasionally tinkering with the high notes from the top of the piano. In a directly contrasting scene, we catch a glimpse of a seductive interaction between an unknown duo, also dressed in red, in which a gorgeous woman wearing little more than a g-string watches on as the man gets creative on the piano. Winter explains, “Pregoblin is a role reversal, I’m in the producer chair and this video reflects that. When going into a studio the woman often gets told how to sound, how to be. A lot of people will just assume that with a male/female duo, the man does all the music and the girl just sings or looks pretty. We’re challenging that and I think the images of a woman on top of a piano with the man playing the piano then spinning to me playing the piano and Alex on top of the piano perfectly explains this scenario for me.” Check it out here now. -Holly Mullineaux
