Having gained a hell of a lot of momentum over the last year, longtime TMR faves Porridge Radio have just announced their recent singing to respected American indie label Secretly Canadian with an epic new track called 'Lilac'. Playing on repetition, atmospheric backing vocals pick out vocalist Dana Margolin's most effecting lyrics, which taunt and support in equal measure as jangly guitars and distant strings intensify. Building towards a f****** massive finalé the repeated outro "I don’t want to get bitter, I want us to get better, I want us to be kinder to ourselves and to each other" is a self-aware outpouring of limiting anxious thoughts versus good intentions.
