After what feels like way too long, POLIÇA are back with an invigorating new single. Satisfyingly dark, 'Rotting' sees Channy Leaneagh's ever-recognisable vocals, set against otherworldly effects, reminiscent of the The Knife/Fever Ray. Building a terrifying atmosphere from the offset, hugely distorted guitar blasts are harbingers of a doomy and immersive piece that manages to maintain accessible vocal melodies. Standing alone for now, 'Rotting' comes alongside the announcement of a string of North American tour dates. Keeping our fingers crossed for a trip to the UK in the, hopefully, not too distant future, we're more than happy to listen to this on repeat whilst we wait. -Holly Mullineaux
