Written and produced in a College dorm room on a shoestring budget, 18 year-old producer pnkblnkt’s debut record Cozy could not sound further away from the environment in which it was conceived. He's streaming the whole EP over on Soundcloud and from where we are listening, the production is as slick, expansive and polished as any experienced beat-maker. Inspired by the likes of Shlomo and Flying Lotus, the electronic tracks are ethereal and transcendent in their slow and dreamy narratives. Our favourite is track 'Ufo (feat. Jack Larsen)' on which pnkblnkt teams up with incredible vocalist Jack Larsen, whose track 'Closer' we loved a few months ago.
