They're colourful, eccentric and above all exciting. Pink Kink's five members come from five different European countries, united in the North West city of Liverpool to smash stereotypes and kick musical ass. Their aptly-named debut single 'Bubblebutt' is a jagged tongue-in-cheek take on punk that calls out sexual harassment. It sounds a bit like the B-52s having an argument with The Cramps with a dash of The Slits thrown in for good measure. Pink Kink's live shows have already gained legendary status up north, but thankfully for the rest of us they'll be accompanying Dead Pretties on their first UK headline tour, which starts tomorrow.
