Pascal Junior is an exciting talent in the house world, with his latest track ‘No Lies’ continuing to turn heads. The Romanian-born, UK-based producer has been dropping a flurry of recent, dance-friendly tracks, but this one is his first on the Selected label. This pulsing track opens with vocoder vocals that are reminiscent of some more recent Bon Iver work, before a more traditional catchy voice enters, taking us through some bouncy, minimalist inspired beats. He isn’t afraid to experiment with some sparse, dry textures, with one of the most vulnerable melodic synths proving to be the highlight of the track. - Dan Peeke
