This collaborative effort from Parallells and Weston & Engine takes pride of place on Bar 25 Music’s latest compilation, Bar 25 Music Presents: Bordel Des Arts Vol. 3, consisting of a full 23 danceable electronic tracks produced by Berlin-based friends of the label. This one, ‘Boogie Moons’, is built around Latin-inspired percussive beats, slow fading pads and gritty yet subtle basslines that complement the distinctive melody lines that come through fuzzy, warm synths. The track sits well within the exciting compilation, as deep house and techno combine to form a series of distinctive and thoroughly enjoyable pieces. -Dan Peeke
