Pablo Dylan has dropped an impressive new offering in the form of ‘Burial Of The Dead’. The track takes his appreciation for modern music and channels it through a love of folk songwriting, via an impressive grasp of multiple instruments. After having landed production credits while working with the likes of A$AP Rocky and Brent Faiyaz, he decided to take a step back to focus on his own experimental solo releases. His debut album Notes From Columbia was the result, with ambient experimentation and classical music taking just as prominent a role as the modern pop and folk sensibilities mentioned above. ‘Burial Of The Dead’ in particular takes a familiar production style and combines it with bluesy acoustic guitar chords, adding a trademark darkness beneath the catchy melodies. - Dan Peeke
