Oddnesse is the project of songwriter Rebeca Arango and producer Doug Walters (Grey Goon). 'I Used To' arrives fresh off the heels of Oddnesse's impressive break-through track 'Are You Down', which saw the duo mastering the art of atmospheric pop music. Their second offering channels a spectrum of blissful music-makers from dream-pop pioneers Beach House to the whimsical shoegazing of Cocteau Twins and Slowdive. 'I Used To' is a carefree slice of hazy perfection that deals with the struggle of letting go and embracing a newfound sense of freedom as Arango sings, “I could get lost in the afternoon...I’ve got no one to answer to/ Here I go again on my own.” Inspired by a number of epic road trips between L.A. and Utah, we'll certainly be adding 'I Used To' to our driving playlist. -HLMX
