‘Pieces’ is the latest track from singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist Navina. This tune is centred on piano, with baroque influences creating a unique feel to the melody. Speaking on the uplifting release, Navina says “I wrote pieces inspired by the concept of jigsaws and patience. I think more so than ever, we can try to display a life which has everything figured out on our online highlight reel. We try to find the answers in many different things when in reality, true contentment comes from looking above ourselves and the situations we find ourselves in, towards something greater”. On this track and the rest of her releases, she plays every instrument (except drums and bass), demonstrating an impressive command over performance as well as composition. - Dan Peeke
