They've taken their time, but we're pleased to welcome the second single from Southampton's melodic grunge-enthusiasts Mystic Peach. After the arrival of 'Downtown' almost a year ago, the trio have drifted away from their Britpop-y roots and upped the ante with their heavy new cut 'Across The Pond'. Lulling you into a false sense of security, 'Across The Pond' begins with frontman Curtis Gale's psych-tinted vocals, pounding drums and an infectious bassline, before Gale lets out a blood-curdling cry and the track takes a sinister turn reminiscent of The Wytches-meets-Nirvana.
