MUSH DOPEMINE LOOPS

There's been some seriously exciting guitar music coming from Leeds over the last year or so with Drahla, Autobahn and FEHM (to name a few) rising through the ranks and packing out venues across the country. Mush are another of one these, making intelligent indie-leaning post-punk that packs a punch. Channelling the irresistible bass grooves of Talking Head's Tina Weymouth and the plain-spoken wails of Parquet Courts meets Bodega, 'Dopemine Loops' is a winding, feel-good exploration of the emotional struggles of everyday life. Released via Too Pure Singles Club-offshoot Dipped In Gold Records, 'Dopemine Loops' is the second half of a double A-side, following last month's 'Gig Economy'. Pre-order it here now, or catch the guys live on their first UK headline tour next month. -Holly Mullineaux
