Put two of the United Kingdom's best and brightest new acts in a room together and they're bound to come up with something special. Or at least that's what just about every A&R on the planet dreams of anyway. Whoever decided to pair Brighton beatmaker Mura Masa and Shepherd's Bush R&B singer-songwriter Shura deserves a mighty slap on the back, because 'Love For That' is a real gem. Shura's knack with a weepy turn-of-phrase tessellates perfectly with Mura's pining string samples and jinking marimba notes, but this doesn't feel like an average feature, churned out to fit the brief; there's an intimacy here, like the two of them really get eachother. A true collaborative work from two of our favourite artists.
