With an EP set for release of October 18^th 2019, Norwegian newcomer MOYKA is ready to demonstrate her talents. ‘Ride’ opens with a haunting acapella vocal before exploding into a squelchy synth-heavy track full of ethereal backing vocals and distant countermelodies. The harmonies and melodies she opts for turns ‘Ride’ into an exploration of the darker end of the Scandinavian pop spectrum, with the tension and drama of the production adding to this unique feeling.
