When he’s not fronting his own label, Disco Halal, Israeli producer Moscoman is a prolific DJ, pumping out huge techno tunes. ‘Song For Bourdain’ is taken from the Diynamic Music label’s upcoming Picture: Moscoman EP, the latest in their line of collections used to “showcase the current creative output of an artist in order to allow the listener to visualize and understand a specific moment in their career”. This track is a gradually building exploration of melodic synths, intertwining rhythms and almost minimalist repetitions, all built over a consistent, ever-present drum pattern. The sound created is a unique amalgamation of influences, ranging from house to trance, forming a distinctive sound that fills venues. -Dan Peeke
