MOON DUO ETERNAL SHORE

Gearing up for the release of their new album Stars Are The Light, psychedelic space-explorers Moon Duo have shared the final pre-released taste of the LP. Adopting similarly fizzy, synthetic drums to Kraftwerk's ingenious 'Pocket Calculator', 'Eternal Shore' is a ripply concoction of heavily-effected guitar twiddles, vibey keys parts and a tonne of weird sound effects that we can't quite work out. With Ripley Johnson and Sanae Yamada's hushed dual vocals bringing an eerie sensibility to the track, it's arguably one of the pair's most fascinating offering's to date; and sitting at a substantial 5 minutes 38, there's plenty of scope to get lost in Moon Duo's cosmic soundscape. Stars Are The Light will arrive on the 27th of September via Sacred Bones. -Holly Mullineaux
