Moon Balloon is a band name that rolls nicely off the tongue, and luckily for us, the pleasure of Moon Balloon doesn't stop with its pleasing linguistic qualities. The London-based outfit consisting of Rhys Timson, Dan Weller, Chad Worsley and Tom Andrews, have just shared super-chill new single 'Time' with a charming home video to match. Piecing together footage from past gigs alongside clips of the band messing around in a pool and hanging out with their mates, it's a heartwarming reminder of the height of summer and a perfect accompaniment to 'Time''s altogether laid-back vibe. Musically channelling the warm, minimalist indie-pop of Smith Westerns and Unknown Mortal Orchestra offshoot Whitney, 'Time' pairs catchy guitar lines with simple yet effective drum beats and vocalist Timson's addictive, fragile melodies. Moon Balloon's second EP Country Songs comes out this Friday (31st of August) via Wet Dream Records. -Holly Mullineaux
