Well, with plimsoll-scuffing Sonic Youth-nodding guitar lines born from a smog-covered New York City, and a gritty melodic slant that aligns them far more closely with the crop of South London - Sorry, Goat Girl, Shame et al - than beachy LA, they're an intriguing pair.
