MOHIT REGAEEZER

East London's progressive art-rockers MOHIT have shared the dazzling albeit oddly-titled new track 'Regaeezer'. Produced by rising star Marta Salogni, who's previously worked with the likes of Björk, YAK, Methyl Ethel, Liars and The Orielles to name a few, 'Regaeezer' is a lucid extended jam built from sparkling guitar parts, chorus-fuelled bass lines and a series of incredible vocals that conjure echoes of some of Local Natives or Wild Beasts' most atmospheric moments. Discussing the track, the band explained: "The song is a snapshot of an impromptu jam at our rehearsal space in Whitechapel. We were joined by Marky Mark; a local homeless man who went on to imbue the music with a deeper meaning.  His lyric, “Stand alone, on my own” speaks of his life on the streets, and the melody manifests his courageous optimism". -Holly Mullineaux
