The dreamy crushed synth and heavy reverb on Michael’s falsetto rings through and brings out the emotional lyrics in the chorus “I hope you’re good, now that you’re gone.” Michael shared his personal sentiments “It shocked me how much we wear masks every day & how hard it is to see what is bubbling away underneath.
