We've longed for the return of Parisian psychedelic starlet Melody Prochet since her stunning self-titled debut all the way back in 2012. 'Cross My Heart' is the shimmering final single from her highly-anticipated second album Bon Voyage, a record which has been a long time in the making, but is now finally here. Taking a more eclectic approach than her early works, 'Cross My Heart' is a sprawling 7 minute sonic exploration that drifts seamlessly between indie, psych, world music, alternative folk and even lounge music. Produced alongside fellow pioneers of modern psychedelia Reine Fiske and Fredrik Swahn (of Dungen and The Amazing respectively), it's a complex and intoxicating journey through sound that showcases Prochet's newfound sense of adventure.
