Everyone’s favourite South Londoners Meatraffle have upped their game with a brilliantly infectious dub-inspired cut ‘‘Ndrangheta Allotment’. Opening up with a surfy guitar lick, ‘’Ndrangheta Allotment’ quickly descends into a groovy feel-good jam fuelled by oscillating synthesizers and a crucially dubby bass line. Front man Warren Mansfield’s trademark trumpeting makes an appearance just before the vocals kick in, but it’s the lyrics that really make this track shine. Recorded and mixed by none other than producer extraordinaire Margo Broom (Fat White Family, Goat Girl, Shame) and released via her own label Drastic Decline, this is a partnership we can certainly get on board with.
