Blending influences and instruments of all styles, Marcus Meinhardt is able to create an indulgent, addictive track built around minimalist repetitions and luscious soundscapes. Tribal tones and disturbing low vocals give the piece an edge, while, as label Exploited Ghetto note, “there is still a positive vibe radiating off the track… it feels like you are taken on a journey following new, enchanting soundscapes, culminating in a twirl of bliss in the break”. ‘Hibiskuss’ is another deep house track released through Exploited Ghetto, who seem to be dominating the scene at the moment, with a string of incredible releases. - Dan Peeke
