In the place where electronics and live instrumentation meet is where experimental pioneer Makeness has firmly put down his roots. His new double A side EP '14 Drops / Acid’ lands 27th May via Handsome Dad Records and sees him intuitively weaving together a bed of mechanised beats with ringing brass and muffled vocals. The effect is a chewed Hot Chip meets Maribou State and he already has the likes of London tastemaker radio station NTS and Manchester's Warehouse Project championing his cause.
