From the ashes of much loved pair Nai Harvest, come Luxury Death. Freshly signed to Stockholm based label PNKSLM, the duo consisting of Ben Thompson (guitarist/singer in the aforementioned, and now defunct Nai Harvest) and his girlfriend Meg Williams epitomise superbly written lo-fi indie rock. Their debut single ‘Radiator Face’ has an undeniably positive glow about - bouncing around with gleeful optimism, with its hard hitting lyrics keeping things on an even keel. “I don’t want to be your chemical strait jacket anymore” they sing together on the infectious chorus, amidst a backdrop of subtly placed synths and finely executed guitar work. A full EP is expected to see a release this Autumn, via PNKSLM. Worth keeping an eye out for that one. -JC
