'Black Willow' is the debut single from Loma, a new project comprised of Shearwater singer Jonathan Meiburg and Emily Cross and Dan Duszynski of Cross Record. The track, which is the lead single and final track from their forthcoming self-titled debut album - due 16 February via Sub Pop - is a slow-burning, choral and beautifully bucolic affair that saunters along with an effortless and though-provoking eeriness. Having come together during last year's Shearwater tour, here's hoping we get to see Loma come to life on the live stage soon. -G.O'B
