‘Wonder Why’ is a jazzy, soulful, funky approach to house music. This ‘Extended Space Edit’ from Fred Everything extends the original track (taken from Llorca’s album The Garden, which dropped to rave reviews after a 2 year hiatus) with added loops, delay and reverb. Much of the funk and groove of the original are maintained, creating one of those rare cases where a remix gives the original track a run for its money. When combined with the second track from this release (Hot Toddy’s ‘Cosmic Funk’ remix of the same track), this becomes a must listen. -Dan Peeke
