"When we come together we feel free and open to be who we truly are as musicians and artists." This is the mindset of LEISURE. The Auckland quintet developed slightly by accident, coming together after a song-writing trip to the remote corner of Muriwai inspired the group to really move forward with their work. 'Nobody' is the fifth offering we've enjoyed from the swoon-pop maestros and comes complete with a seductive verse from US hip-hop heavyweight GoldLink. It's a loungey, soporific cut that oozes sensuality in the vein of Rhye and more recently Dornik and Prep, and continues to prove what silky electro outfit they are. The hushed harmonies and warm, bubbling synth line provides the ideal bed for GoldLink's input and, with a debut album on the way, it's looking like 'Nobody' can stop the ascent of LEISURE. -G.O'B
