Lake Komo have unveiled a new single, as they continue their ascent towards the mainstream. 'Milwaukee' - one of the first songs the band wrote together - tells the tale of a break-up that front-man Jay Nudd experienced and sees the Manchester four combine wholly satisfying melody with marching drums and sparkling accompaniment to create the anthemic, yet gently melancholy outing with Cam Blackwood (London Grammar, George Ezra) behind the desk. The track appears as the band put the finishing touches on their Columbia-released debut record and ahead of a headline tour around the north of the UK. -G.O'B
