LABRADOOR SILENCE

London based band Labradoor are really getting into the refreshing spirit of spring. With only one other track on their SoundCloud, their new song ‘Silence’ is beautifully chirpy but somehow still bears a touch of sadness. Think Circa Waves and The Postal Service all having a jam at the seaside. Explaining the roots of ‘Silence’, singer Emil Brynge states that “I wrote the raw demo in an evening. After jamming on it for a few months, we evolved it into its current form. It’s about how saying nothing at all can sometimes work better, and says more words than I could’ve done.” Catch them at Brighton’s Great Escape on May 21st. -JE
