Introducing promising new project Konradsen (aka Eirik and Jenny) from Norwegian capital Oslo with their second ever single ‘Never Say A’. This captivating alt-pop listen was crafted in a bedroom surrounded by plants, and we can certainly feel the comforting, serene atmosphere of that creative environment through the billowing production and peaceful melodies. Ambience is the cornerstone of ‘Never Say A’, even as the layers build: first synths, then piano, then digital beats, then a horn section. The warm tones are led by an unusual - but nevertheless impactful - vocal, which conveys the lyrics with a rhythmic movement, making this alternative offering surprisingly catchy.
