With the British weather taking a regrettable (yet entirely predictable) turn for the worse, it was with great pleasure we received word of KNIGHT$’ latest summer-facing single. ‘Gelato’ is, as you might imagine, a sugar-infused and infectiously catchy pop gem that employs humour, driving rhythms and dazzling production as it transports you to the sandy beaches of the Italian Riviera. The release comes alongside a suitably kitsch video and news of KNIGHT$’ forthcoming debut record Dollars & Cents (out 5^th April via Specchio Uomo) which was recorded in both London and Milan and also features previous singles ‘What’s Your Poison?’ and ‘Alligator’. The Winchester-based jokester has also announced German, Swedish and British tour dates in March so be sure to catch him live for the full ‘Britalo-Disco’ experience.
