It's certainly not easy for a new band at the very start of their career in the public eye to develop a voice that sets them apart from the crowd immediately, but Dutch twosome Klyne have made it look a breeze over the past few months. Their stunning debut 'Paralyzed' set the tone, with its barrage of warped synths, and the pair have only gone from strength to strength. 'Waiting' is their latest release - following 'Entropy' and 'Closer' - and Nick and Ferdous seem utterly at home operating within these deeply layered electronic halls now, with grinding beats providing the shade for Nick's angelic falsetto. You have to stick around for the joyously OTT guitar solo, too. Klyne are leading the new electronic-pop pack by a distance. - DC
