Kid Brunswick’s latest release is a lyrical dive into his own struggles with mental illness written back when he was just 17. ‘Skinny’ keeps electronics at the forefront, but a love of rock music maintains a heavy, grungy atmosphere throughout. Over the genre-bending back, Brunswick is able to fill his vocal lines with addictive melodies. He explains the lyrical background is “pretty self-explanatory.  I was dealing with a lot of eating disorders and drug abuse when I wrote it.
