KEEL HER NO CONTROL

Having self-released roughly 20 albums from the age of 14 until now, Keel Her is the chosen moniker of songwriting tour de force Rose Keeler Schaffeler. Catching the attention of The Charlatans front man Tim Burgess via a productive recording session with DIY/bedroom-pop pioneer R. Stevie Moore, the prolific Winchester-born musician has announced that she'll be releasing her new album With Kindness on the 7th of June via Burgess' own imprint label Genesis O. The first taste of the album, titled 'No Control', is a lysergic embrace of post-break-up freedom. Floating between the cosmic realms of Vanishing Twin, Ulrika Spacek and Stereolab, it's an intriguing slow-burner that sees Keeler Schaffeler's folk-tinged vocals drifting effortlessly above an off-kilter soundscape of rippling synths and gently, chugging guitars.
