Having pricked our ears as the mysterious female voice on the recent Speedy Wunderground-release Lazarus Kane single 'Narcicuss', Bristol's Katy J Pearson, has just released her first single since singing with esteemed indie label Heavenly Recordings. Set in a stunning cliffside location, the beautifully-lit video for 'Tonight' follows Pearson around as she rambles solo around the moors, sporting nothing but a snazzy suit and an acoustic guitar. Musically blending folk influences with lowkey psych-pop, Pearson's distinctive, country-tinged vocals steal the show as she retells the story of a romantic first encounter on the dancefloor. Elevated by a brassy outro, 'Tonight' is a feel-good earworm that'll restore your faith in modern day dating.
