Formed back in 2015, Swedish alt-rockers Junodef recently relocated to London and have already been turning heads with their stunning minimal sound. Fresh from supporting art-rock legends Blonde Redhead, the talented quartet have unveiled 'Heights', a heady concoction of otherworldly delayed guitars, throbbing electro beats and vocalist Karin Grönkvist's spellbinding vocals. There's a somber undercurrent to this sonically-beautiful offering as Grönkvist confides, 'I keep dreaming of falling from great heights with you'. She explained, “the song is about the realisation that something is about to come to an end, and the fear that accompanies that realisation. Heights is the moment just before the inevitable happens, the place where everything is still fine and normal; where time has stopped and all your energy is directed towards enjoying important relationships and moments, but with the underlying knowledge that it will soon be gone.” Listen here now. -Holly Mullineaux
