Jordan Max has revealed the stark, real life visuals for 'Hell', the debut single taken from his Only One Is King EP. The 23 year old singer-producer taught himself piano after seeing the film Ray and has never looked back. Written and recorded in his Oldham bedroom, this first outing blends elements of soul and hip-hop to create a wholly arresting, gently unsettling work that feels like it could be something from Moby or Portishead with its intelligent combination of old and new. The accompanying video is shot in his hometown and features the friends who helped Max carry his first piano through the streets to his flat where the EP came to life, highlighting the brilliant DIY nature of this excitingly unique new project. -G.O'B
