With all the vocal quirkiness of Ezra Koenig, the beauty of Beirut and the depth of Bon Iver, L.A newcomer Jesiah has universal appeal on his side. He’s just dropped his second ever single ‘Babylon’ and it is as delicate in its musicality as he is in his sensitive, wispy delivery. It may be cutesy in its lyrics but Jesiah manages to make it feel intimate rather than cringey, as his love song envelops you in a warm fuzzy haze with its delicious harmonies. He pulls back on the instrumentation to allow the singing to do the talking, and with just a hint of piano and drums, he proves uncomplicated is the way to go on romantic occasions. Totally different to upbeat first single 'Walls', we can't wait to see where he's going to go next. - SJ
