A funky percussion pattern combines with a deep, thick bass drum to create an opening loop that embraces the entire breadth of the frequency spectrum and kick off this deep house tour de force. Voices fade in and out of the mix, with a staple deep house keyboard sound buried beneath the dense textures until it emerges in full around 2-minutes into the track. ‘La Bombonera’ is taken from French label The Chaud Records’ 4^th release, a compilation of tunes that (aside from this one from Parisian producer Jeff The Fool) includes releases from the likes of Stupid Flash and Ghetto 25. -Dan Peeke
