Taken from his upcoming project Dissipate, James Delaney has dropped his latest cut, ‘Afterglow’. While it moves away from his previous work in the EDM circuit, there are bouncing electronic textures wobbling away beneath the airy vocal of Delaney above. Towards the end of the song, Delaney’s vocal reaches some impressive higher notes that show off a soaring range. Emotional lyrics fill the piece and create a much more personal feeling which will resonate across the rest of the album. His mixture of electronics and jazz influences should lead to an interesting set of tracks. - Dan Peeke
