Placing acoustic guitar into an electronic tune is something rarely approached by most producers, but Berlin-based producer Jacob Groening’s heavily-edited and manipulated, folk-inspired guitar plays a key role in this tune. Gypsy jazz is hinted at through the piece’s melody lines, while a reflective deep house accompaniment gives the tune a surprisingly danceable edge. ‘Imera’ is taken from Bespoke Musik’s latest compilation, Sounds Of Sirin, of which they say "the compilation “Sounds Of Sirin" takes us on a magical journey through a rhythmical, dreamy soundscape". -Dan Peeke
