Consisting of two members of long-standing TMR favourites Peluché, 'Kookaburra' is the intoxicating debut single by new project It Was All A Dream. The self-described "London dream-soul-dance duo's" first outing is an introspective piece of abstract synth-pop that's otherworldly production provides some much-needed escapism from the gruelling reality of modern city life. Sprawling over a substantial 5 minutes 15 seconds, 'Kookaburra' takes a serene detour towards the end, allowing soothing synth pads to spiral through satisfying chord changes before a driving acoustic beat kicks back in and the comforting refrain, 'oh no, you don't have to be alone now' carries the track through through to it's utopian finalé.
